The FK SKVICh Minsk is a football club from the Belarusian capital Minsk , the currently in the Belarusian First League , the second division of the country plays.
history
SKVICh Minsk was founded in 2000 as FK Lakamatyu ("Locomotive") Minsk . He carried this name until 2008. Three times, in 2002, 2004 and 2007, the club was promoted to the Wyschejschaja Liha , the top division of Belarus. However, in 2003 and 2008, after one year in each case, and in 2006 after two years of excellence, again. Only in the 2005 season managed to stay in the league with an 11th place.
In 2003, FK Lakamatyu Minsk celebrated its greatest success by reaching the cup final . However, this was lost against Dinamo Minsk with 0-2.
