SNV (for Swiss Standards Association or VSS ) is a sans serif font that is or has been used for road signage in various European countries.

It was developed in 1972 by the Association of Swiss Road Experts VSS.

In Switzerland , this font was replaced in 2003 by ASTRA-Frutiger . The SNV is still used in Belgium , Bulgaria , Luxembourg and Romania as well as in the countries of the former Yugoslavia, i.e. Bosnia and Herzegovina , Croatia , Kosovo , Macedonia , Montenegro , Serbia and Slovenia .
