SOS 18 is a French television series. It revolves around the operations and private life of the members of a fictional fire brigade in Angoulême . The eponymous 18 is the French emergency number for the fire brigade, along with 112 .
So far (from June 2002 to January 2008) 33 episodes in 5 seasons and three pilot episodes have been produced. In addition to the channel France 3 , TV5MONDE also broadcasts the series with German subtitles.
