Manuela Lopez (born July 28, 1972 in Valenciennes ) is a French singer and actress who occasionally only appeared under her first name Manuela.

biography

Lopez was born in the French department of Nord . Her father is Spanish, her mother French. She has been married since 2005 and has one son.

Lopez started her acting career. She had her first television role in 1993 in the series Extrême Limite, broadcast by the French TV station TF1 . In the same year she played in an episode of the series Le Collège des Cœurs Brisés Princess Stéphanie of Monaco . Also in 1993, Lopez appeared on the side of Hélène Rollès in the sitcom Hélène et les Garçons , in which she played the role of Adeline. Lopez was one of the show's most popular actresses for a while and also appeared in its sequels Le Miracle de l'amour and Les Vacances de l'amour . From 1997 to 2003 she played Marion regularly in the television series St. Tropez (French original title: Sous le soleil ). Numerous guest appearances in various French television series and films followed. Most recently she appeared in the SOS 18 series from 2006 to 2009 .

In 1995 Lopez began a career as a singer parallel to her television work. Her first album, Romantique , was released that year, followed by a concert tour through France a little later. Lopez also appeared as a guest singer at concerts by her fellow actor Hélène Rolles. In 2006 her second album Sans dessus Dessous was released .
