The SSC 1901 Oels (officially: Spiel- und Sportclub 1901 Oels eV ) was a German sports club from the Silesian town of Oels (today Oleśnica , Poland).

history

The club was founded in 1901 as SSC 1901 Oels and belonged to the Southeast German Football Association . In 1921, 1923, 1925 and 1928 the Central Silesian Association was runner-up.

In 1933 the SSC 1901 Oels missed the qualification for the newly introduced Gauliga Silesia and from then on played in the second-rate district league. In the same year there was a merger with VfR Oels and TSVgg Jahn Oels to form STC 1892 Oels .

After the end of the Second World War, the city of Oels became Polish and the STC 1892 Oels association was dissolved.
