SSTL S1-4 is a British Earth observation satellite .

He was born on September 16, 2018 at 16:37 UTC with a PSLV - carrier rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Center (along with NovaSAR-S ) into a sun-synchronous brought orbit.

The three-axis stabilized satellite is identical to the 3 DMC3 satellites and is equipped with an optical telescope (VHRI-100) with a panchromatic resolution of one meter, a multispectral resolution of less than 4 meters and a swath width of 24 km and is intended for disaster monitoring and serve general monitoring tasks. It was built on the basis of the SSTL-300-S1 satellite bus from Surrey Satellite Technology and has a planned service life of seven years. The recording capacity was 100% leased from the Chinese company 21AT.
