Company sports community

After the end of the Second World War , only loosely organized sports associations (SG) were initially allowed in the Soviet Occupation Zone (SBZ) . Such a SG had formed in Allstedt, which took part in the qualification for the 1st soccer east zone championship in 1947/48 . The Allstedter reached the quarter-finals in Saxony-Anhalt via the district championship South Harz, but were defeated there by 0: 3 to SG Freiimfelde Halle . For the 1948/49 season, a national soccer class was set up in Saxony-Anhalt for the first time. It was one of the five highest soccer leagues in the Soviet Zone and led to the determination of the national champions. The SG Allstedt was one of 20 teams, divided into two relays, which participated in the national class, and in the end reached seventh place in the southern relay. In the course of the year, the sports community was converted into a company sports community (BSG) , whose sponsoring company was the Allstedt rolling mill. The BSG was called "Stahl Walzwerk Allstedt". With the introduction of the new soccer zone league (later GDR upper league ) in the 1949/50 season, the national class was only second class, the BSG Stahl ended the season as bottom of the table and had to relegate. She initially played two seasons in the district class, which was fourth division after the introduction of the second-rate GDR league .

After the GDR districts were founded, Allstedt was assigned to the Halle district class in 1952/53, and the BSG was given a new carrier company with the local LPG and a new name with "Tractor Allstedt". The Halle district class initially remained fourth class until 1955, but became the fifth division from 1956 with the introduction of the new third class II. DDR league . Until 1956 the BSG tractor was in the lower half of the district class. In 1956 she finished the season (from now on every calendar year rhythm) in tenth place, then the Halle regional football committee divided the district class into an A and a B league, with the B league only being sixth class. Rank ten was no longer enough for the district class A, so that Allstedt only played in league 6 from 1957. In 1959 there was another change of sponsor for the BSG, the city administration took over the support and the name changed to "BSG Einheit".

The 1961/62 season (return to the summer-spring rhythm) was the lowest point in the development of football in Allstedt. In its season, the BSG unit was only eleventh and had to relegate to the district league. The Allstedter remained at the district level until 1970. During this time, the BSG returned under the roof of the rolling mill, which in the meantime belonged to the VEB Mansfeld Kombinat . Accordingly, the name of the BSG had changed to "Mansfeld Kombinat (MK) Allstedt". In the season 1969/70 the BSG managed to return to the district class, which was now single-track and fourth-class again. Except for the 1972/73 season (after relegation), MK Allstedt played in the district class until 1986. The 1985/86 season turned out to be the greatest success of BSG MK when they made it to the Halle district league . However, the quality of the team was not enough for the third division, and so it was relegated after a year. Allstedt remained in the district class until the end of the GDR soccer match. The 1989/90 season ended the BSG Mansfeld Kombinat with third place.

Sports club

After the economic changes as a result of the political change in 1989/90 , the system of company sports associations collapsed, and new clubs were founded in their place under German law. After the Mansfeld Kombinat had ended support for the Allstedter BSG, BSG members founded the registered association "Sportverein (SV) Allstedt" in 1990 . Sports such as soccer, handball, bowling, roller hockey, tennis, table tennis and gymnastics developed. In 1990, the soccer team was classified in the third-class Halle district class within the newly founded soccer association of Saxony-Anhalt (5th league in the northeast German soccer association ). In 2004/05, the Allstedt footballers played in the Saxony-Anhalt state league, and in 2013/14 in the eight-class state class. Then they were relegated to the Mansfeld-Südharz district league. The women's soccer team has played in the national league since 2009. Roller hockey developed into the most successful sports department of SV Allstedt. As of 2015, the roller hockey team was playing in the 2nd roller hockey Bundesliga.
