Valentin Gavrilov

Valentin Gavrilov (born August 16, 1978 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian social democratic politician , deputy minister and currently deputy health minister .

Life

After graduating from secondary school, he completed the law degree from 1996 to 2001 as a qualified lawyer at the Faculty of Law and from 2004 to 2006 the master's degree in European economics at the Vilniaus universitetas . From 2000 to 2001 he worked as a lawyer in UAB "BALT RISK" and from 2001 to 2003 in AB " Vilniaus degtinė ". From 2003 to 2005 he headed the legal department at AB “Vilniaus degtinė”. From 2005 to 2006 he worked as senior specialist and from 2006 to 2007 as head of the legal department at Konkurencijos taryba . From 2007 to 2014 he was the deputy director of UAB “Remiva” and from 2007 to 2014 he headed the legal department at AB “Vilniaus degtinė”. Since December 8, 2014, he has been the Deputy Minister of Health of Lithuania in the Butkevičius cabinet (16th government), Deputy Minister Šalaševičiūtė .

Gavrilov is a member of the LSDP , a board member of the Justiniškės District Community and a councilor of the Jeruzalė Community Center .

Gavrilov is married to Oksana Gavrilova and has a daughter and a son.

Gavrilov is a native Russian and speaks Russian, Lithuanian and English.
