Jeruzalė (lit. ' Jerusalem ') is a district of the Lithuanian capital Vilnius , in the north of the city, not far from Baltupiai , Santariškės and Verkiai . In 1923 a primary school was built. Lithuanian and Polish have been taught since 1951. In 1930 the residential area was annexed to Vilnius. Today it is located in the Verkiai District of Vilnius Municipality . There is a Progymnasium (in Soviet Lithuania and then a middle school until 2013 ), a Catholic church, and a park with sculptures.
