Dvarčionys is a district of the Lithuanian capital Vilnius , in the northeast of the city, near Antakalnis , 7 km from the city center. The Dvarčia brook flows through Dvarčionys . The Dvarčionys geomorphological reserve is located here. The ceramic tile manufacturer AB Dvarčionių Keramika, famous in Soviet Lithuania, has had its headquarters since 1888. There are many residential buildings, a library, a kindergarten, a pharmacy, and a Maxima supermarket . There is a community of gardeners in the south of Dvarčionys.

history

In Soviet times, Dvarčionys was a settlement of ceramic factory workers. From 1950 to 1958 Dvarčionys was in the Naujoji Vilnia district . In 1959 the residential area was annexed to Vilnius. Today it is located in the Antakalnis District of Vilnius Municipality . There was a primary school until 2013 . It was reorganized in September 2013. Now there is the Dvarčionys department of the VGTU - Lyceum (high school in Antakalnis).
