Žemieji Paneriai is a district in the southeastern area of the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . It is located to the east of the Paneriai tunnel , on the left bank of the Neris , to the south of Aukštieji Paneriai . The Savanorių prospektas (Vilnius) passes through Žemieji Paneriai . There is a Catholic chapel, the cemetery, the physics institute, the Panerių secondary school in Vilnius, the railway.
