The SV Betzdorf-Bruche is a German sports club based in the Bruche district of the Rhineland-Palatinate city of Betzdorf within the Betzdorf-Gebhardshain community in the Altenkirchen district (Westerwald) .
history
post war period
The first football team rose to the 1951/52 season in the third-class Rhineland regional league . With 34:26 points they placed themselves in seventh place at the end of the season, which was not enough for participation in the newly introduced Rhineland amateur league. So the team had to compete in the 2nd amateur league next season.
Current time
In the 2002/03 season, the first team played in the district league C Westerwald / Sieg, where they finished tenth with 21 points. From this you had to relegate to the district league D at the end of the 2010/11 season with only 6 points. The return to the district league C was then finally achieved after the championship in the 2013/14 season. After the 2016/17 season, they were promoted to the district league B. In this league, the club played until the 2019/20 season. After the club failed to play in games several times at the beginning of the season and once left the game at half-time, the team was excluded from playing in District League B in November 2019 and will therefore have to compete one league lower in the next season.
