SV Ducherow
The SV Ducherow is a multi-disciplinary sports club in the Western Pomerania community of Ducherow . The club, founded in 1990, offers competitive sports such as soccer, volleyball, table tennis and bowling.

The sports club Ducherow was founded after the political turning point in 1989/90 by members of the company sports community (BSG) Traktor Ducherow, after the system of company sports communities could no longer be maintained due to the economic changes in the GDR . The BSG tractor, whose carrier company had been the local LPG , became known nationwide through its football team, among other sports offered.
In 1957 (calendar year season) the soccer team reached the level of the Neubrandenburg district with the promotion to the district class . However, the level of the team was not enough to keep them up, so they disappeared again in the district class for the next two seasons. In 1959, the BSG tractor rose again to the Neubrandenburg district class, in which it developed into a top team at the end of the 1960s.
As early as 1965 she was successful by winning the district soccer cup , with which she qualified for participation in the GDR-wide FDGB soccer cup competition 1965/66. There, Traktor Ducherow met second division club SC Neubrandenburg , which they lost 2: 3 in the home game.
After the 1970/71 season (summer-spring season) Ducherow rose to the district league, which was the third division in the GDR football game since 1963 (elimination of the 2nd GDR league ). The district league season 1971/72 was too strong for Traktor Ducherow, and there was an immediate relegation again. This was followed by seven more seasons in the district class before returning to the district league in 1978/79. This time Ducherower was able to assert himself in the third division for three seasons, until the descent had to be accepted again in 1981/82. After the BSG tractor was initially to be found again in the top field, there was a drop to ninth place in the 1986/87 season, followed by twelfth place in 1987/88 and relegation from the district class. Until the end of the GDR football game operation, the BSG tractor remained in the district league.
The soccer team of SV Ducherow, founded in 1990, began its appearance in the DFB game operations in the 1990/91 season with sixth place in the Neubrandenburg district class, the 3rd division in the Northeast German Football Association . Since 2015/16, SV Ducherow has played in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania regional class, the 8th division of the DFB.
