The SV Hoffeld (actually: Sportverein Hoffeld eV) is a sports club in the Degerloch district of Stuttgart . There are currently 12 departments. Two of these departments are Disabled Sports (BSA). The clubhouse with restaurant was inaugurated in 1970 after the first clubhouse burned down in 1967. In 2007, a photovoltaic system was put into operation on the grounds of SV Hoffeld .

Soccer

As early as 1937, young Hoffeld settlers founded the “Hoffeld Sports Club 1937”. When many active players were drafted into the war, the club was deregistered in 1943. In 1951 the SV Hoffeld was founded and carried on the tradition. In 1983 the first women's soccer team was registered.

Archery

The department is the youngest and fastest growing department of SV Hoffeld. Since 2014, the department has been taking part in tournaments such as the DFBV Bowhunter League under the name Bogenjäger Stuttgart . Currently (as of 7/2018) the department has over 170 members.

In 2018 Luisa "Lu" Riedel became South German champion in the Bowhunter Recurve class.

BSA goal ball

founding

Until 2008 there were several torball groups in Stuttgart . After various mergers and regroupings, the remaining group of BSV Stuttgart became the goal ball department of SV Hoffeld in 2008.

successes

The goalball department has a number of important national and international successes. The women became German champions several times and took top positions in the World Cup. The men's team is a founding member of the Torball-Bundesliga and became German champions in 2015. SV Hoffeld players became world champions with the national team in 2001 and 2004. Cornelia Dietz, a well-known goalball and goalball player , is responsible for the success .

BSA table tennis

The department was established in 2005. In 2013 the department was able to produce a German master (open class, Friedemann Wagner), two German youth champions (Michael Roll, Tim Laue) and a senior master (Robert Funke).

In 2018 Tim Laue and his team partner Thomas Rau won the team competition in the para-table tennis world cup at the international world ranking tournament in Lignano (Italy).

The department was founded in 1970. The tennis courts were built on the former athletics facility.

theatre

In 2005 the theater group Grambapfuuzger was integrated into SV Hoffeld.
