The SV Karlshagen 1938 was a short-lived sports club in the German Empire with headquarters in the present-day communities of Peenemünde and later Karlshagen in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald .

history

The club was founded in 1938 as SV Peenemünde in Peenemünde. The association held its first in the season 1940/41 in the first class Pomerania on. In the next season the SV was group first and was able to take part in the district finals, the result of this game is no longer known. The opponent in the form of LSV Dievenow was then allowed to participate in the promotion round. In the 1942/43 season , the team could only reach third place in their group. However, there were only three games for SV this season.

For the next season , the club was renamed SV Karlshagen 1938 and probably also moved its club headquarters to the neighboring community. This season the SV was able to become champions of its district group B and thus take part in the promotion round to the Gauliga Pommern . After four games played, the SV ended up in second place with 4: 4 points. For the new season , however, all clubs that could still take part in the game were divided into the Gauliga Pomerania and divided into so-called sports district groups. The Greifswald group of the West section was assigned to the TSV. The only game held by the entire group before the game was stopped was played against LSV Dievenow ; who won the game 1-0. At the latest at the end of the Second World War , the association was probably dissolved.
