MSV Graf Schwerin Greifswald

MSV Graf Schwerin Greifswald was founded in 1930 as MSV Graf Schwerin Deutsch Krone . The club initially competed in friendly matches for the benefit of Winterhilfe , but shortly thereafter also played in the Vorpommern district league . In 1933 the company was relocated to Greifswald, and from then on the name was MSV Graf Schwerin Greifswald .

In the promotion round to Gauliga Pomerania in the 1935/36 season, Graf Schwerin initially failed at SC Blücher Gollnow . In 1937, together with MTV Pommerensdorf , the company was promoted to the Pomeranian Gauliga for the first time. In the top German league, Greifswald had no chance with just seven season points and was relegated to MSV Mackensen Neustettin . Count Schwerin was unable to return to the Gauliga.

LSV Dievenow

In 1941 the club was relocated to Dievenow and subsequently acted as Luftwaffe SV Dievenow . In 1942 he was promoted to the Gauliga Pomerania, against the established teams of Hubertus Kolberg and LSV Parow Dievenow was consistently in a relegation battle. Analogous to other North German Air Force sports clubs such as Arado Warnemünde or the LSV Rerik , Dievenow was also prematurely withdrawn from gaming operations and dissolved in September 1944.
