The SV Schaffhausen is a Swiss football club from Schaffhausen . The club colors are black and white.

Colloquially, the game association is referred to as "Spielvi". The club currently has 4 active and 22 junior teams, making it the largest football club in Schaffhausen , ahead of the better-known FC Schaffhausen .

history

In 1922 the game association Schaffhausen was created through the merger of the two football clubs Hohlenbaum and Sportclub Schaffhausen. Further mergers with various Schaffhausen football clubs followed, such as with FC Munot or FC Ceresio Schaffhausen. Between 1949 and 1951 the first team was coached by Albert Sing , who became world champion in 1954 as an assistant coach with the German national soccer team.

The game association played for many decades in the lower leagues before the club began to fly high in the 1990s: in 1990 it was promoted to the second division , and in 1994 it was promoted to the first division . 1997 abolished the "Spielvi" then made it into the National League B . The pure amateur club could not hold its own in the second highest Swiss league and was relegated again after a year.
