Saad Trabelsi (born December 20, 1991 in Saint-Amand-Montrond ) is a French - Tunisian football player .

Career

Trabelsi began playing football at Bourges FC , where he played for the first time in the fifth-rate first team in the 2010/11 season. Although he was only used sporadically in this, he aroused the interest of the second division club FC Nantes and was committed by this in the summer of 2011. For this, the high school graduate postponed a desired medical degree, even if it was not initially intended for the professional team. In the following months there were rumors that first division clubs such as Olympique Marseille , AS Saint-Étienne , the later champions HSC Montpellier , but also the German Hamburger SV were interested in Trabelsi. This ultimately stayed with Nantes, where he was awarded a professional contract for the 2012/13 season. This mainly led to the fact that from then on he played regularly for the reserve team, for which he did not go beyond a single mission in the preseason. He made his professional debut on September 29, 2012, when he came on as a substitute in the 78th minute of the 4-0 game against RC Lens in the second division .

However, he did not make the breakthrough in the first team and was part of the squad until 2014, but was no longer called up. Then he was only intended for the reserve team until he joined the fourth division SO Cholet in the summer of 2015 .
