Saadet Sönmez

Saadet Sönmez (born June 10, 1972 in Üsküdar ) is a Turkish- German social worker and politician of the Left Party .

Life

Sönmez is a qualified social pedagogue and worked in the psychosocial counseling of a clinic in Frankfurt am Main. She is a member of the United Service Union (ver.di) and has been a member of the Hessian Left Party since 2008 . In the state election in Hesse in 2018 , she ran for 7th place on the list of the Left Party. She succeeded in entering the Hessian state parliament as a member of parliament . She is the migration and integration policy spokesperson for her franchise and is a member of the subcommittee for expellees, resettlers, refugees and reparations.
