Sabina Nowak

Sabina Nowak , married. Pieruzek-Nowak, (born June 6, 1959 ) is a Polish scientist , wolf expert and president of the Association for Nature Wolf (AfN Wolf), known in Poland.

Life

The biologist Nowak has been taking care of wolves in Poland since the mid-1990s . From 1993 to 1998 she coordinated the campaign “For the full protection of large predators, wolves and lynx” in Poland. In 1983 she completed her studies at the Silesian University in Katowice with a Master of Science in Biology. In her PhD she described the "ecology of wolves".

From 2001 to 2004 she was the head of the Polish census of lynxes and wolves. Since 2000, she has been coordinating German-Polish cooperation on wolves with German wolf expert Gesa Kluth .
