Sabine Kaspereit
Sabine Kaspereit born Schaefer (born August 4, 1945 in Merseburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the German Bundestag.
Life
After attending the Ernst-Haeckel-Oberschule in Merseburg, Kaspereit completed a degree in dentistry at the University of Leipzig and a specialist training as a specialist in children's dentistry, which she completed with a diploma. She worked as a school dentist in the Weißenfels district. From 1990 to 1994 she was Vice President of the Association of Towns and Municipalities in Saxony-Anhalt.
politics
Kaspereit joined the SPD in 1990. She was chairwoman of her local association and deputy district chairwoman. From 1992 to 1994 she was a member of the state executive, and since 1992 she has also been a member of the federal party council. In 1994 she moved into the Bundestag, to which she belonged for two legislative terms until 2002. She was a board member of the Kurt Schumacher Society .
