The Saber Rock (from English saber 'saber' ) is a 7.5 m high cliff rock off the north coast of South Georgia . In the Cumberland East Bay it is 800 m east-southeast of Dartmouth Point .
The crew of the HMS Herald measured the rock in January 1987 and gave it its descriptive name based on its shape.
