Sadang (unit)

Sadang , Sandang, Saundaung were an Indian measure of length and corresponded to the cubit . The measure had spread in Pegu and Ava , regions in what is now Myanmar . The peculiarity of the measure was the arbitrary determination of the length by the respective ruler. The Reichselle, also royal cubit, as it was also called, was at the beginning of the 19th century:
