Sadie Jones

Sadie Jones (born 1967 in London ) is a British writer.

Life

Sadie Jones is a daughter of the Jamaican-British screenwriter Evan Jones (1927–2012) and the actress Joanna Jones. She grew up in London and attended a public school in Hammersmith . Her debut novel The Outcast was published in 2008 and was nominated for the Orange Prize for Fiction and received the Costa Book Award in the First Novel category. A film adaptation of the book was broadcast in two parts by BBC One in 2015 .
