The Sainte Marie Airport ( IATA : SMS ; ICAO : FMMS ; French Aéroport de Sainte-Marie ; Malagasy Seranam-piaramanidin 'Nosy Boraha ) is an airport on the island of Sainte Marie , Madagascar . It is located in the south of the island not far from the city of Ankarena .
The airport is only connected to domestic destinations by the airline Air Madagascar . The Malagasy airports Antananarivo and Toamasina Airport as well as the commercial airport of Réunion on the French island of Réunion are served.
