Saipin Detsaeng
Saipin Detsaeng (born March 15, 1977 ) is a former Thai weightlifter .
Career
Detsaeng won the bronze medal in the class up to 54 kg at the 1997 World Championships . At the Asian Games in 1998 she reached fourth place in the class up to 63 kg. In 1999 she was sixth at the World Championships. At the Asian Championships in 2000 , she won silver. In Sydney, she finished fourth at the Olympics . With 222.5 kg she had the same result as the bronze medal winner Ionna Chatziioannou , but had a slightly higher body weight than the Greek.
In 2002 she was second in the snatch at the Asian Games , but had no valid attempt in the push. At the Asian Championships in 2005 she was fifth. At the 2005 World Championships , she was disqualified for a doping violation and suspended for two years.
