The Africell Football Club (until 2009 Africell Sait Matty Football Club ) is a football club from Bakau in the West African state of Gambia , a town near the capital Banjul . The club plays in the highest league in Gambian football in the GFA League First Division . The championship has never been won.
The team has been supported by the Gambian mobile communications company Africell Gambia Ltd. since 2005 . sponsored, so they also have the company name in their team name.
