Saki Tashiro ( Japanese田 代 さ き, Tashiro Saki ; born February 17, 1991 in Sendai , Miyagi Prefecture ) is a Japanese table tennis player .

Career

Due to strong Japanese competition, she was rarely seen on the international stage, but achieved some international successes.

In 2014 she was runner-up with the team. In the final they lost to China . At the Australian Open in the same year she won gold in doubles and silver in singles at the US Open 2016.

Since April 2017 she is no longer in the ITTF world rankings .
