Salim Cavunt (* 1926 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player and coach .
Career
Cavunt began his career with Galatasaray Istanbul in the mid-1940s . From 1952 to 1957 the striker played for Adalet SK and came to 76 appearances in the İstanbul Profesyonel Ligi during this time . In 1957 Cavunt returned to Galatasaray. In the season 1957/58 he won the İstanbul Profesyonel Ligi with Galatasaray. Cavunt ended his career at Feriköy SK in 1959 and a short time later became the head coach of his teammates.
