Salmin Amour
Salmin Amour (* 1948 ) is a Tanzanian politician from the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM).
Life
On October 25, 1990, Amour succeeded Idris Abdul Wakil as President of Zanzibar and, as such, was also Second Vice President of Tanzania and Chairman of the Zanzibar Revolutionary Council. He held these offices until November 8, 2000 and was then replaced by Amani Abeid Karume .
