Solomon's Knot

A Solomon's knot is an ornament of two interlocking ovals that can be found on buildings and in mosaics in various cultures, including the European. In the literature there is also the term quatrefoil knot , which, however, is also used for the Bowen knot and in this respect is a superordinate term.
