Salt Tank is a British trance project made up of music producers David Gates and Malcolm Stanners . Andy Rose later joined them for their live performances.

Career

The Salt Tank music project was founded in London in 1991 . Their first single "Ease the Pressure" was released that same year. In 1993 they came under contract with the music label Internal Records . The following year they released their debut album Laguna Calorado .

The project achieved its greatest success in 1996 with the single "Eugina", which reached number 40 in the British single charts . As a result, several successful remixes were produced, including by Paul van Dyk , Chakra and Chicane .

With Andy Rose, who was specially hired for this, Salt Tank had several live appearances at festivals such as the Glastonbury Festival or Dance Valley . They were only the fourth band to appear in the famous Club Cream in Liverpool (after The Chemical Brothers , Daft Punk and Underworld ).

In 1999 the first single, "Dimension", was released on the Hooj Choons label . This in turn placed in the UK single charts and reached number 52.

After the single "The Energy", the project was quiet for several years until the new single Led was released in 2009 . In 2010 the single "Leaving Town" was released on Ferry Corstens label Flashover Recordings .
