The salt mason was a measure of volume in the Kingdom of Bavaria and Regensburg and was a measure of salt . Deviations in other regions were common.

1 Salzmetzen = 4 Mässl / Salzmässl = 16 Köpfel = 672 Parisian cubic inches = 13.33 liters
1 bowl = 1 quarter Mässl
1 salt miner = ½ flour line
