Sam Sneed

Sam Sneed (real name Sam Anderson ; born February 29, 1968 in McKeesport , Pennsylvania ) is an American hip hop producer and rapper .

Career

He began his career as a producer for the rapper K-Solo .

In 1993, Anderson signed with Death Row Records , where he released the single U Better Recognize featuring Dr. Dre published. The song also appeared on the soundtrack to the movie Murder Was the Case and reached number 16 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music / Maxi Singles chart and number 18 on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart.

Sam Sneed co-produced the hit Keep Their Heads Ringin ' by Dr. Dre , who made it to number 23 in the German single charts.

Between 1995 and 1996 Sam Sneed recorded material for his planned solo album to be released on Death Row Records. However, the publication has been postponed indefinitely. It wasn't until 2011 that the debut album was released under the title Street Scholars on WIDEAwake / Death Row Records. Included were both unreleased songs from the 1990s and newly recorded material.
