Samba D. Bah

Samba D. Bah (* 4. December 1948 ; † 23. October 2008 in Sukuta ) was Interior Minister ( Secretary of State for the Interior ) of the West African State Gambia .

Life

On May 4, 2004, he was appointed to the cabinet by President Jammeh . Prior to that, from 1994 to 1998 he was director of the National Intelligence Agency , the Gambian intelligence service. In March 2005, Bah was replaced by Baboucarr Jatta as Minister of the Interior.

In 2006 he was said to be involved in the failed coup of March 2006.

Bah died in October 2008 at the age of 59.
