Samed Kılıç (born January 28, 1996 in Pontault-Combault ) is a Turkish - French football player .

Club career

Youth (until 2014)

Kılıç grew up in the vicinity of the French capital Paris and began playing football in 2005 at a club from Noisy-le-Grand . He then played in Bussy-Saint-Georges before he was committed to the youth team of AJ Auxerre in 2011 . The then 15-year-old did not move there immediately, however, but completed an apprenticeship at the Center technique national Fernand-Sastre . At Auxerre he was then a member of the A-youth team, while at the same time he was gaining match experience in the fifth-class second team. He was considered talented and also aroused the interest of other clubs before he signed a professional contract with the AJ in January 2014, which was valid from the following season 2014/15.

Start of his professional career (since 2014)

On August 15, 2014, Kılıç made his debut in the French second division at the age of 18 when he came on for Jamel Aït Ben Idir in a 1-0 loss to US Orléans in the 69th minute . This was followed by regular considerations, where he was occasionally also part of the starting XI. In addition to his traditional position in the central or attacking midfield, he was occasionally called up as a right winger. At the beginning of 2015 he came into the focus of the first division club AS Saint-Étienne and it was also reported of a possible move to the highest English league.

Change to Turkey

For the 2017/18 season, Kılıç moved to Turkey for second division team Samsunspor . After only seven appearances in the TFF 1st Lig and the club's relegation, he was awarded for one year to the French third division club SO Cholet in the summer of 2018 .

National team

Due to his Turkish origins, Kılıç would in principle also be eligible to play for this country, but initially opted for a career with the French association in the youth field. On January 17, 2012, he made his debut for France's U-16s in a 3: 3 against Ukraine and ran regularly for them in the following time. From summer 2012 he was part of the U-17 team, with which he missed the qualification for the 2013 European Championship . He was then accepted into the following age groups.
