Sami Ozkara

Sami Özkara (* 1940 ) is a Turkish novelist and non-fiction writer living in Germany .

With Inşallah, hopefully he presented his first work in 1974, a novel. This made him one of the first German-speaking representatives of what was then known as Turkish guest worker literature .

In the 1980s, Özkara, now a freelance education speaker at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the Rheinisch - Westfälische Auslandsgesellschaft , published non-fiction books, primarily on questions of education . Another novel was published in 2008, Teoman . This is essentially autobiographical. Özkara received his doctorate in the Federal Republic of Germany.
