Heinrich Hegmann

Heinrich Hegmann (born April 4, 1885 in Wardt ; † November 6, 1970 ) was a German politician ( center , later CDU ).

education and profession

Heinrich Hegmann attended elementary school and trained in agriculture on estates. From 1909 he was an independent farmer on his parents' Tellemannshof in Wardt (today part of the city of Xanten ).

politics

Heinrich Hegmann was a member of the German Center Party from 1926 to 1933 and a member of the Prussian state parliament from 1932 to 1933. In 1945 he became a member of the CDU. From 1945 to 1961 he was a member of the district council of Moers. From 1946 he acted as Vice President of the Rhenish Agricultural Association and from 1948 as 1st Vice President of the Rhineland Chamber of Agriculture. In 1946 he became a member of the Provincial Council of North Rhine.

Heinrich Hegmann was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from October 2, 1946 to July 23, 1966 . Initially as a member of the 1st Appointed Landtag and 2nd Appointed Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected to represent constituency 42 (Moers Nord) in the 1st , 2nd , 3rd , 4th and 5th Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia .

In 1960 he became an honorary citizen of Wardt.
