Athletic career
Sami Ullah gained his first international experience at the 2019 South Asian Games in Kathmandu , where he won the bronze medal in the 100-meter run in 10.66 s behind Hassan Saaid from the Maldives and Himasha Eashan from Sri Lanka. He also secured the bronze medal behind the teams from Sri Lanka and India with the Pakistani 4 x 100 meter relay in 40.50 seconds.
In 2015, Ullah became the Pakistani champion in the 4-by-100-meter and 4-by-400-meter relay.
