The Museum Sammlung Rosengart is an art museum in Lucerne .

The art dealer Siegfried Rosengart (1894–1985) maintained friendly contacts with various artists such as Pablo Picasso , Joan Miró , Marc Chagall , Henri Matisse , Georges Braque , and Fernand Léger . Together with his daughter Angela Rosengart (* 1932) he built up a private collection of well over 300 works of modern art . The 125 works by Paul Klee and around 180 works by Picasso each form a focus. The pictures by Pablo Picasso were exhibited in the Picasso Museum (today the Rosengart Collection).

In 1992 Angela Rosengart founded the " Rosengart Foundation " in Lucerne with the aim of preserving the art collection and making it accessible to the public. The art museum, which is located in the neoclassical former building of the National Bank , opened in 2002 .
