Samon Kawamura (born May 4, 1973 ) is a German-Japanese music producer, composer, artist and DJ. He grew up in Tokyo and has mainly been based in Germany since the mid-90s, where he lives and works with his family in Berlin.

Samon Kawamura is part of the “KaHeDi” producer team (Samon Kawamura, Max Herre, Roberto Di Gioia).

biography

Since the early 2000s, Kawamura has been producing and composing music for artists such as Till Brönner, Max Herre ( Freundeskreis ), Genetikk , Joy Denalane and others. a. Albums like “Blue Eyed Soul” (Till Brönner) were awarded 5 gold and the Jazz Award 2005, “Hallo Welt”, “MTV Unplugged Kahedi Show” (Max Herre) were awarded gold and platinum, “Achter Tag “(Genetikk) with gold. Singles like “Wolke 7” (Max Herre) and “Wünsch dir was” (Genetikk) also achieved gold status. Albums like “Achter Tag” and “YALA” (Genetikk) charted at number 1 in the German album charts. In addition, Samon Kawamura has produced several of his own albums, on which other artists participated, including the Stonesthrow artists OH NO (brother of Madlib) and Aloe Blacc, MC Ta'Raach, Laura López Castro, Om'Mas Keith (SA-RA Creative Partners) and Kev Brown from the Jazzy Jeff camp.
