The Samson AG is an association founded in 1907 by Hermann Voss sand manufacturer of control valve technology. Samson produces valves, self-contained controllers, actuators, attachments, signal converters, controllers and automation systems, sensors and thermostats and digital solutions. Areas of application include chemical plants, power plants, district heating distribution , food production and building automation . The company is one of the world's leading suppliers of control valves in the chemical industry .

Samson AG employs around 4,000 people worldwide in around 60 subsidiaries with agencies in 66 countries. The company's headquarters have been in Frankfurt am Main since 1916. Around 1,600 employees work on the 150,000 square meter company site. A research and development test center went into operation there in November 2017.

Further production sites are located in China, France, Italy, India, Russia, Spain, Turkey and the USA.

In September 2019 a joint venture with the company Krohne Messtechnik was implemented: Focus-On ; The joint venture is based in Dordrecht in the Netherlands. The first product is a control valve that uses AI and contains sensors to measure flow, pressure and temperature.
