Samuel Cornut
Samuel Cornut (born June 28, 1861 in Aigle , † May 1, 1918 in Thonon ) was a French-speaking author from Switzerland . He was friends with Édouard Rod and is considered a forerunner of modernity.
In 1909 he received the Prix Rambert for his novel La Trompette de Marengo , a literary prize for French-language Swiss literature awarded every three years.
