Samuel Jessner

Samuel Jessner (born January 5, 1859 in Königsberg in Prussia ; † December 7, 1929 in Königsberg) was a German dermatologist and sex researcher.

Jessner studied medicine at the University of Königsberg . After completing his doctorate , he also completed his habilitation there. He mainly dealt with skin and sexually transmitted diseases. He was chairman of the Königsberg branch of the free religious German Society for Ethical Culture . His sons were the dermatologist Max Jessner and the theater director and director Fritz Jessner .
