The San Telmo Glacier ( Spanish Glaciar San Telmo in Argentina Glaciar Beruti ) is a glacier on the Orville coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It flows south of the Dodson Peninsula into the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf .
Chilean scientists named it after the Spanish ship San Telmo from Cádiz , which was wrecked in Drake Street in 1819 under Captain Joaquín de Toledo as part of a four-ship association and was finally left to its fate. The namesake of the Argentine name has not been passed down.
