San Giorgio di Pesaro (in the Gallomarchesian dialect: San Giorg ) is a place and a former Italian municipality ( comune ), to which the places Poggio and Sacramento belonged, with about 1360 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2016) in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the brands . Since 2017, San Giorgio di Pesaro, together with the former municipalities of Barchi , Orciano di Pesaro and Piagge, has formed the new municipality of Terre Roveresche . San Giorgio di Pesaro has an area of 20.88 km², is located at an altitude of 201 m about 22 kilometers south-southeast of Pesaro and about 27.5 kilometers east-southeast of Urbino and belongs to the Comunità montana del Metauro .

The village is mentioned for the first time as a Castello di Poggio 777. The name of St. George appears for the first time in 875.
There has been a town partnership with the French municipality of Hombourg-Haut since 1976 .
