The San Ysidro Mountains are a mountain range located mostly in southern California with a small area that extends as far as Baja California in Mexico. The main part of the chain is formed by the Otay Mountains , with the highest elevation of the chain, the 1064 m high Otay Mountain , and the Jamul Mountains .
