Sandia Park
Sandia Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in the US state of New Mexico . The place is located in Bernalillo County , which also includes New Mexico's largest city, Albuquerque . Sandia Park was named after the adjacent mountain range, the Sandia Mountains , which separates the town from Albuquerque. The place is located at an altitude of 2157 meters above sea level .
Sandia comes from Spanish and means watermelon.
