The Sandneset (Norwegian for sand nose ) is a headland in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It forms the northern branch of the Furdesanden moraine in the Conrad Mountains of Orvinfjella .
Participants of the German Antarctic Expedition 1938/39 under the direction of Alfred Ritscher discovered and photographed them from the air. Norwegian cartographers, who also named them descriptively, mapped them on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
