Sandra Morán (* 1961 ) is a Guatemalan politician of the Partido Convergencia .

Life

Morán studied economics at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala . Morán lived in exile between 1981 and 1994. She co-founded the first organization for the rights of homosexual people in Guatemala in 1995 and co-organized the first festival for homosexual people in Guatemala in 1998. Morán has been a member of the Congress of the Republic of Guatemala since November 2015 .
